Izzy’s Restaurants New Summer Menu Items (and Gift Card Giveaway)

If you are local to the Cincinnati, OH or one of the surrounding areas then you may be familiar with a local favorite – Izzy’s Restaurant, home of the famous Reuben sandwich!

Well, Izzy’s has some delicious new items just in time for summer! Izzy’s new BST sandwich features oven roasted turkey breast, topped with thick cut, applewood smoked bacon, fresh spinach and tomatoes, dressed with pesto mayonnaise and finished with a toasted telera roll. The Pesto Turkey BST sandwich comes served with Izzy’s new cucumber salad. The Izzy’s Cucumber Salad: fresh sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onions and feta cheese tossed in a Italian dressing.

Another delicious item added to the menu this summer is their Tomato Basil Soup. Vine-ripened red tomatoes are puréed and slowly simmered with fresh basil leaves in a vegetable broth and then accented with tastes of cayenne pepper, roasted garlic and a hint of chipotle flavor along with other seasonings.

Consistently named the “Best Deli in Cincinnati”, and known as the home of the “World’s Greatest Reuben,” Izzy’s still serves the classic homemade recipes Izzy Kadetz was handed down from his father dating back to 1901.
