I have been in the market for a new washer and dryer for months as my old set was really a basic line washer/dryer combo from a local appliance store. While it served its purpose when I first purchased my home years ago, they were aging quickly and showing signs possible shutdown.

I knew that with my next purchase of a washer and dryer, I wanted something that would be energy efficient and modern. I found just that with the Samsung ActiveWash Washer and Dryer.

The Samsung Activewash washer has become, by far, the best washer I have ever experienced in my life. It is a HE drum has such a huge amount of space, I can even wash my comforter in it. It has a special setting on both the washer and the dryer for bedding.  With any family, especially a larger one, a good washer and dryer is a must have since the laundry never stops. I am thankful to have the Samsung Activewash pair to get my clothes, towels and more clean and dry!The Samsung Activewash Washer has a built-in sink! I love that I can now take care of stains and delicate items within this sink. It has a special cycle of its own so that it won’t get damaged during the bigger cycle.

The inside of the washer is nice and big – you can fit a great amount of clothes and more in it. There is a detergent tray as well as a place to put fabric softener in. Additionally, if you need to add bleach there is a spot for it as well. It’s so nice to have a place to put all the necessary liquids for laundry without pouring them directly on the clothes or in the water before adding the clothes.

As far as the cycles go, I love that the breakthrough technology allows for a 40% faster cycle and a more thorough wash cycle. A normal cycle is done in just 36 minutes!

There are 12 preset wash cycles and 10 options that you can select based on your needs. The options include normal, heavy duty, delicates, colors/darks, super speed, bedding, perm press, brilliant whites, quick wash, waterproof, rinse + spin, and spin. And all of these cycles are Energy Star rated.I am loving the Samsung dryer just as much as the washer. There is a 7.4 cu. ft. capacity and it has a stainless steel drum. I love that the dryer featuers a Multi-Steam Technology – perfect for getting out wrinkles.

There are 12 preset drying cycles and 11 options depending on your needs. The preset cycles include: Normal, Heavy Duty, Delicates, Air Fluff, Active Wear, Bedding, Perm Press, Time Dry, Quick Dry, Refresh, Wrinkle Away, and Steam Sanitize.

I will never go back to a traditional washer with the centered agitator that takes up most of the room. I have found that with the Samsung Activewash Laundry pair, I do fewer loads, use less water and less detergent. Adding the fact that it is Energy Star rated, this was truly a wise investment that will save me more and more over the years.
