The holidays are over and that means young minds are back in school actively learning and growing. One way I like to help doing my part is to give them fuel for their body and their mind. That means a delicious, nutritious lunch. Some of my favorite items to put into their lunchboxes are sandwiches made with Nature’s Harvest® bread slices. Cutting them up in to cute, character pieces gives them a little joy and breaks the monotony of an ordinary, everyday lunch meat sandwich. In addition to the tasty sandwich, Riley loves her Del Monte® Fruit Cups. This has become a weekly purchase from Walmart for my family. We all love the sweet, natural taste and how filling it is. As an ADDED BONUS, right now Del Monte® Fruit Cups packages has extra savings on their packages!

Kids have started returning to school after a restful holiday break and that means back to basics. Schedules, homework, routine lunches and more is what is in store for my family, as with many kids everywhere. With that in mind, you want to keep their tummies full and minds focused to get through the day. Filling their lunchbox with fun and delicious treats is just one way of showing how much you love and are thinking of them.
From the time you have your first child, until the last, you learn rather quickly how things change. Each child is unique and not like the others. While your world can get chaotic, it is always imperative that you make time for yourself – “Me Time” I like to call it. For me personally, it is traveling with friends. Weekend jaunts to places and seeing sites we have never seen before.
