We do not go out. I have a beautiful shamrock brooch I purchased in Ireland and I try to remember to wear that. That is the extent of our celebration.

I do not celebrate St Patricks Day.
It is not another day for us because my husband is 1/2 Irish and he is very proud of his heritage. I make Irish soda bread and corned beef with cabbage and rice pudding for dessert. And yes..we wear green too.

I love St. Patty’s Day. It means Spring is just around the corner. Time to bring some green into the house.
It really depends but most of the time I find a middle ground, a little green but nothing overkill.
We are a bit of a happy medium when celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. We always make sure to wear green, but depending on what we have going on, is what determines if we do much more. Sometimes we put up a few decorations and we have a plaque on our wall with an Irish blessing, but it stays up year round. 🙂 I’m part Scotch-Irish.

I do not celebrate St. Patrick’s Day since I am Jewish. However, my mother-in-law is Irish and she celebrates with a big, traditional Irish meal. This would be lovely for her as her centerpiece.
