ASPCA Celebrates 150th anniversary with 150 Days of Rescue
As of April 10th, ASPCA is celebrating its 150th anniversary, and in honor of this important milestone, they have launched 150 Days of Rescue, a nationwide action campaign that seeks to unite the country in making a difference in the lives of homeless and abused animals.Animal lovers everywhere can visit ASPCA.org/150days and pledge some of your time between April 10 and September 7, 2016, to help animals in need, with the goal of reaching 150,000 actions for animals in 150 days. Ways to participate include volunteering at a local shelter, donating, fostering, adopting a shelter pet, etc. Animal lovers who log their good deed will also be given the opportunity to nominate their favorite animal shelter to receive a grant prize of $150,000!
There are ways you can help. Donate time, money, resources and more to help save a loving animal today. Consider skipping your grande latte for a few days and instead take time to donate that money to the ASPCA and help the continue their 150 year long tradition of helping those who cannot speak out for themselves. Come together today and make a difference. Be sure to stay socially connected with the ASPCA and learn how you can help with animals everywhere. You can also follow along and help as the ASPCA works to reach their coal during the 150 days of Rescue campaign.
They do a TON of good and I donate to them often
