Celebrate Earth Day with Entenmann’s ~~ Learn more about how to Recycle, Reuse, Replenish and win an Entenmann’s Prize Pack
I have been a long-time consumer of Entenmann’s Little Bites. Their tasty mini-muffins and brownies are one of my favorite treats to pack in my lunch, as well as my kids.
This year Entenmann’s has partnered with TerraCycle to help bring awareness and ideas on how to do your part for the world this Earth Day (April 22, 2015).
KIDS CAN TURN LITTLE BITES POUCHES INTO CASH FOR THEIR SCHOOL:
Entenmann’s Little Bites snacks, the individually portioned lunch snack that is perfect for lunch boxes and grab-and-go fun, has partnered with the recycling and upcycling experts at TerraCycle to create new lives for used Little Bites pouches, while at the same time help fundraise for schools. Flavors include Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins, Little Bites Crumb Cakes and new for 2015 Little Bites Party Cakes. As part of the Little Bites “Turn Trash to Cash” program, participating Pouch Brigades throughout the country collect empty Little Bites pouches to earn points that can be redeemed as cash for the school; the used packaging can also be turned into innovative new products at TerraCycle such as tote bags, pencil cases and even picnic benches. The Little Bites “Turn Trash to Cash” campaign demonstrates Entenmann’s dedication to recycling and reducing the amount of Entenmann’s Little Bites pouches that end up in landfills each year.

I take my own recycling trash can, to community potlucks, to encourage neighbors to recycle their pop cans and water bottles. Hopefully, to remind them to recycle at home too
We recycle all cardboard, glass and plastics.
We recycle all plastics and aluminum.
I’m in walking distance to grocery/other stores and walk weather permitting for groceries and other errands
I recycle and I also try to eat locally sourced and organic produce to reduce my carbon footprint.
We recycle most of our household garbage.
I collect through the week, and recycle every Saturday. I use a lot of packaging cardboard in my gardens, and in my compost bin along with fresh vegetable leftovers, coffee grounds, egg shells, yard clippings, etc. I reduce water usage through an outdoor water barrel, and am an avid electric saver. Weather permitting, I ride my bike instead of using my car.
We recycle everything we can at home, and we’ve started doing organic recycling/composting too. We take plastic bags to the store to be recycled since they can’t go in the city’s pickup, and we use reusable packs as much as possible. We also try to reduce packaging in our purchases and when we give things to others.
We recycle everything in accord with our township arrangements. We also mulch the grass and leaves without bagging all those leaves and grass like in prior years.
I don’t own a car!
We walk to run errands and recycle everything that we can.
