It’s my birthday month. Tomorrow is one of my daughter’s and my granddaughter’s birthdays! My two brothers that died in February 2021 have heavenly birthdays this month also. They were close in life and in death . I’ll never forget them! I miss and love them

I will start a new year of teaching 5th graders math. This will be year 26. I enjoy seeing the “ah hah” moments of the kids when they grasp a concept. It’s 1 of the reasons why I teach. Priceless moments.

I struggle with the month of July. My mother’s birthday is July 4th and she passed when I was 12. They say time heals, but I don’t know just how well you heal from a death of a parent at a young age.

My favorite thing about this month is the beautiful warm weather and longer days. It’s perfect for spending more time outdoors, enjoying activities like picnics, hiking, and evening strolls. Plus, it’s the ideal time for barbecues and gathering with friends and family to make the most of the season.
