• My sister slept in the christmas tree box the first time we brought it home.

• Our cat delivered kittens under the tree. Not funny but very weird that she sort of wanted an audience.

• i had just finished settin up my fake tree n well i guess i was due for a new one cuz one the legs on the bottom snapped and the whole thing flopped over lol good thing i use plastic ornaments lol

• This was the funniest thing ever-I hung a wreath over the doorway of the outside of my house, but I must have not put it up good enough because when the mailman was handing me my mail, the wreath fell down around his neck! Thank God the wreath was a light weight one or else it would have been terrible!

• If someone was watching me, they would probably get a good laugh out of me trying to get the Christmas tree back into the box. I am beginning to think that it works only one way. You can get the Christmas tree out, but you can’t get it back into the box.

• My first Christmas in Chicago, I did not have a car and really wanted a Christmas Tree. My roommate and I went to Home Depot and got a Christmas Tree and walked home about ten blocks carrying the tree! It was fun!

• It wasn’t funny but we had the tree all decorated. Went to bed and in the middle of the night a big bang. Sure enough the real tree fell over.

• 2 years ago I thought I would cut my tree in half to make room since I lived in a very small apartment. i put it up the day after Thanksgiving and thought nobody will know because I can angle my camera for pictures. Not long after I put it up like that did I get a phone call and the event center I had booked my sons birthday party at had double booked that day and decided to let the church group have it so I had to frantically change his party to the apartment forgetting my tree. I was flabbergasted when everyone walked in and was like ohhh your poor tree!! LOL we all laugh today, but I was so all over the place that I just wanted to cry then.

• When I was a kid, my dad stopped on his way home from a Christmas office party and brought home a huge tree. He spent 5 hours trying to get it in the house, only to find it was way too big and in less than a second, tossed it out the front door lol 🙂

• My cats like to eat the tinsel off my tree lol!

• Not a funny story…. but for years I swore I’d NEVER get “one of those phony, fake” Christmas trees Then when my youngest daughter was sick every year at Christmas, she was finally diagnosed with being allergic to the tree. So yeah, we are the “fake” tree people too! I guess this giveaway is PERFECT for me, so that I can have the scent of a tree!
