Do you have some fabulous stories and messy moments with your little ones? Life is FULL of messy moments, and when they are little, they are some of the messiest! Thank goodness for the wonderful detergent Dreft to care for our little ones clothes to keep them clean and fresh.

Dreft is the top baby laundry detergent choice for pediatricians and has been a reliable, trusted cleaning source for over 80 years. They are specially formulated to hypoallergenic, gentle on baby’s skin and tough on stains. Best of all it has that fabulous baby fresh scent we all love.

Dreft has partnered with Dr. Hes to share some great “messy baby” tips to help every parent. Here are just a couple of her great tips:

  • Count the fun and use your fingers: Use your little one’s food as a fantastic way to learn how to begin counting. When snacking, start counting with your little one and encourage them to use their fingers. Also, this is a great time to use food to help them learn how to properly grasp things. It will take time and practice so let them get a little dirty with their food and practice, practice, practice!
  • Throwing practice: Throwing food can definitely be messy, but did you know it helps with their development? Little ones are also still developing object permanence, which means that they don’t know that when they throw things, they won’t come back to them. So throwing food or dropping in on the floor can actually help them learn this basic lesson in physics! Maybe just lay a mat on the floor to protect carpet or allow for easy clean up.

  • The messiest moment was when my older daughter was on the bus with me, I was holding my youngest daughter when my oldest daughter poured all her milk on her head and the she said ahhhh it feels so nice and fresh. Most of the people looked a me and the bus driver just moved her head side to side. I felt very bad but the bus driver did not let me clean anything since I was holding my youngest daughter :(. Thanks for the chance to win such an amazing giveaway.

  • the messiest moment had to be my oldest daughers first birthday. I thought purple and blue frosting on her cake looked so pretty until she got it all over her and even stained her face a little, it was straight to the bathtub from the highchair.

  • One of my daughters, when she was two, took a big spoon and started eating chocolate pudding from a big dessert bowl at a family party before dessert was served. What a chocolate covered mess….but it made for some great photos!

  • My son was helping make a chocolate cake and it ended up on his face, his hair and every where but it was priceless and a great memory.

  • My favorite messiest baby moment is my nieces first birthday. She attacked her birthday cake and it was everywhere!

  • My grandson is really messy when he eats spaghetti. My favorite was when he did his birthday Smash cake and had blue frosting and cake all over him.
