Guest Blogger, Michelle from Simply Cute Design

Hi there I am Michelle, owner & designer at Simply Cute Design. I am so excited to be a guest blogger for Christi! I have done a lot of work for her; she is absolutely a joy to work with! We just completed a blog move and I must say I {heart} WordPress! It just looks better than Blogger ever could! I am super happy with the way everything turned out!

I have a necessary need to design stuff, it’s my outlet, my stress relief, my must have in everyday life! I started designing graphics & layouts on MySpace – when it was cool; in 2007 while my husband was deployed to Iraq, just to have something to occupy my time while he was gone. It grew into an addiction almost; I bought Photoshop and used Google to learn whatever I could! Google is my BFF…a close second would be YouTube for video tutorials! When MySpace fell off the face of the Earth I quit designing for awhile and seriously became sad, I loved it & wanted more! So I decided to go to school for design and enrolled in Session Professional School of Design & got my Advanced Web Design Certificate in 2010. Since then I have opened up Simply Cute Design & well here I am, a freelance web designer with a passion for simple but cute design.
