Headbands of Hope Giveaway
Meet Jessica Ekstrom- she is the founder of Headbands of Hope.
For every headband purchased, one is given to a girl with cancer and $1 is donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund life-saving childhood cancer research.
Jessica became inspired to start Headbands of Hope after her internship last year at the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She found that the girls loved to wear headbands instead of wigs when they lost their hair to treatment. Headbands are the perfect way for girls to keep their feminine identity when going through chemotherapy and it’s also a constant reminder that they’re not alone.

I received 3 different headbands, 2 classic headbands with flowers and one sparkly band. My son even agreed to model one for me:
He looks cute, doesn’t he? The headbands fit kids and adults heads alike. I wore one too for most of the evening and you hardly notice that it’s there. They are all so pretty and fun. There are so many choices and patterns. The bands are well made and are so comfortable. I can see how a little girl’s eyes would light up when she got to pick one of her own. I am in awe of Jessica’s mission and her wonderfully made products. I highly recommend these Headbands of Hope to anyone who wants to support cancer research and brighten someone’s day!

I would pick the glitter ones (any color). I agree with the headband idea. I’m 28 and I’ve had my head shaved numerous times for brain surgeries (and there’s more to come) and I always put on cute headbands or bandanas instead of a wig. It is much easier and I can change it out to match my outfit!
