Kidknows Outdoor Thermometer #Review & #Giveaway (Ends 7/29/13) ~~ 3 WINNERS!!!!
Daniela Stark, mother of 2 is the innovator who created this amazing and wonderful concept. An outdoor thermometer that is mercury free, shows you the exterior temperature and coordinates with a color chart of things that would be appropriate to wear for that temperature.
Sold to a lot of schools and families with special needs children, this great thermometer empowers kids to learn numeric features, temperature settings, coordination and to be more independent when choosing what to wear. I highly recommend this outdoor thermometer for every family.
Easy to use, avoid fighting with your little ones on what to wear when it is really cold or hot outside. Display this colorful, mercury-free thermometer in your window and let them see for themselves what the outside temperature is like and choose their attire accordingly.

My son insists on wearing shorts, no matter what the weather. The worst time was when, after arguing with him until we were almost late to school, he wore the shorts, and then it snowed! Did he care? NO! He was running around in the snow in his shorts, then got in the car and complained it was cold!
Not really….they’re pretty sensible about how they need to dress during the seasons.
I don’t have any battles with the kids.I make them pick out what they want to wear.
My daughter is 13 and bless her heart she has no sense of fashion. At least 3 times a week during school I have to send her back to change she will mix flowers with prints or put on her wear around the house pants with the spaghetti stain on the leg .
All the time, My son (6) wants to wear shorts all the time, and does not want to wear a coat in the winter.

Winter coat…I spent money on a LLBean winter coat that was longer for my teen. She HAD to have it. Then she decides she doesn’t need to wear a winter coat! Pick your fights: well I picked this one since I had spent the money. Yep, she wore it … for three years!!
My kids are grown, so I haven’t had that problem recently, but I have a grandson who is 1 year old. He’s too young now but I’m sure it won’t be long!
This would be really helpful to know what to wear each day for work or for our family’s many outdoor activities – I’m terrible at knowing how to dress!
My kids are young now so they don’t really fight about what they want to wear.
I think its so cute that they have clothes on this, even I find that appealing!
I really need this. My son keeps putting pants on and it has been 90 degrees here the last couple of days. This would help him know what to put on
I battle with my pre-teens and teens for each season. They think that shorts and a tank top are okay in the middle of winter, when the temps are in the single digits. Or triple digit temps and they think jeans and a sweatshirt are the perfect attire. I guess no matter what the weather-my children will do the exact opposite.
not yet – but I can see the battles may begin soon, she is starting to pick out her own clothes!
My kids are pretty easy as far as what they want to wear. With my son, he would rather I pick than him! My daughter, though is a lot more independent and has definite style ideas!
I’ve given up battling. If she wants to learn that if she puts a sweater on in 80 degress, she’ll regret it, she’ll have to learn 😉 I love that this thermometer shows clothing!
I would love to win one of these!!! thank you!
We have one of these for my kids and it’s really helpful!
Right now me and my 5 year old argue over sleepwear he wants to wear his heavy winter PJS and doesn’t seem to understand its 90 degrees outside!
I try not to battle them anymore – but I am that mom that shows up with her daughter wearing a spiderman t-shirt, pink tutu and cowgirl boots because I don’t want to argue – her body is covered, lol!
I used to battle until I started picking out a couple outfits and giving my daughter a choice between just those 2 and not her entire wardrobe. Shoes are an other issue all together.
