The Kyocera 8″ Professional Chef’s Knife has one of the largest advanced ceramic blades produced by Kyocera, so it provides a stronger, denser blade and stays sharper longer than other ceramic knives.  The deep blade has a good knuckle clearance, with a comfortable ergonomic handle that provides great control and ease of handling.  Since it is ceramic, there are no metallic ions to transfer, so using this knife won’t alter the taste, smell or appearance of the food you use it on.

There is a limited warranty that comes with this product, as well.  They are fully warranted to be free of defects in material and/or craftsmanship, and if it is found to be defective, Kyocera will repair or replace it.  Kyocera also offers Lifetime Complementary Sharpening as well.  You just pay a shipping and handling charge and they will sharpen the knife for free!
