  • The fact that my mother was always there for me is the most important aspect of a great relationship with mothers abroad.

  • I have so many that it’s hard to pick just one! Probably my mom being with me when my daughter was born. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • My Mom was a lot of fun. We grew up in Daytona Beach, and many years later my parents moved back there. We enjoyed many walks on the beach with my Mom, shell hunting & just talking about everything and anything. Those are the best memories.

  • A special memory i have is our trips to Georgia to my sister’s home! She owns horses and alot of different animals and learning to ride was awesome. I learned to work hard and the importance of family and working together!

  • We use to go to a campground called dogwood lake for every 4th of July. We loved it!

  • My mom would bake these huge, wonderful birthday cakes for each of us every year for our birthdays. I loved helping her out too.

  • One memory in particular was just this past fall when my mom was able to visit London with my sister and. Only my sister had been between the three of us.

  • Sunday dinner my mom always made roast and made the family sit around table talking about their weeks.

At one point we stopped frosting according to where the skeleton lines were and just decorated some however we wanted, but a few of them ended up looking like mummies. xD

  • My best memory with my mom was when she and my dad split, as much as she was hurting and struggling to make ends meat for her and myself, we always had mommy daughter dates which usually was just a small dinner out as she everything she made went towards keeping our house and they were the best.

  • She once set a birthday cake on fire accidentally. It was pretty funny.

  • My mom used to amazing crafts. She could knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, tat, just about anything you could mention. She tried so hard to teach me how to tat, as it’s a dying art of making lace. It takes good skill and flexibility with your hands and I never could understand it. She tried so many times with me. She passed away and I regret that I couldn’t learn it. I love her for trying tho 🙂

  • I remember went to a trip to Europe with my mom.

  • My mother decorates cakes and I used to help her when I was younger. It was always so much fun.

  • My sister is a wonderful mother. She works hard to raise my niece and deal with her emotional and physical issues. My sister has so much patience and compassion- I wish that I could be a better mother like her.

  • It is a funny and strange one. My dad was stationed in germany and we took a road trip to Italy. I went to the bathroom at a restaurant and freaked out because I locked myself in. My sis was outside the door and got my parents and eventually I got the door open. My mom was like oh I just did not open the door right. So she came in and I showed her what I did and we BOTH got locked in and it took us 10 minutes to get out. Turns out the door had a problem with the lock. LOL

  • Coming from an Italian household, I have a lot of memories of my Mom teaching me how to cook and bake some of her signature dishes. I am now vegan, but I still use her recipes (modified of course) all the time.

  • It’s not crazy special, but I love when we go on long car rides and just talk and listen to music.

  • The last time she came to visit me, we went to WalMart and had a race in the scooters. LOL

  • My sisters and I used to get together at my mom’s for a visit and we all would have so much fun. My mom would make us laugh until we cried 🙂

  • It’s so hard to pick ONE memory, especially since my mom passed a few years ago. But one that comes to mind at the moment is when we took an evening flight back home after a trip. We were both really tired & on the flight something set us off & we couldn’t stop laughing until we were crying. We both have/had a contagious laugh, so many passengers around us were smiling & laughing as well!

  • When I was a kid, my mom and I went on a trip to her hometown and our ancestral home. The funniest moment from that trip was when my my mom, aunts and I sat on one of the beds at their home so we could take a picture, the bed gave out and we all fell in and couldn’t get out.

  • I still live with my mom. I can’t really think of a special memory or anything. But what I will say is that my mom is probably one of the best moms out there. She’s always been there and I truly love her!

  • When I was 15 I wanted my lip pierced. So when we went to get it done she got it done with me. She was nervous it was going to hurt even though she sat through a five hour tattoo lol. We both still have our lips pierced. A big bonding moment for the two of is. We are very close.

  • My mom’s appetite was slimto none towards the end iof her cancer,I made her a chocolate pudding cup with whipped cream,hot fudge,and a cherry on top,she loved it so much we went through a whole pudding 6 pack lol

  • When my mom went out to watch me golf just rode around in the cart with me she is very ill now I think of those times a lot

  • I remember riding the trails on or horses Scooter and Fonzie!

  • I have a hilarious memory I will NEVER forget with my Mom! When I was 16 years old, I was crazy for Ozzy Osbourne! I mean…crazy! So my awesome Mom decides to take me to the concert. She was so amazing. She rocked out with me and we had a blast! I will never forget her doing that for me. God bless and Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Mama’s out there!

When we got off the train there was a free trolley outside the station, and she said quick, get on! We were all really hungry at the time, and asked her where it goes, and her reply was, “I don’t know, but it’s free!” Thankfully it took is the direction we wanted to go. We still laugh about it. We might be easily amused.
