My spring cleaning hack is to dust from top to bottom.
I like to go room to room and bring a cleaning caddy, trash can and an empty box for things that need to go somewhere else.
I use grapefruit seed extract to clean and sanitize my tile floors.. It keeps them clean longer and leaves a fresh smell. It also helps with nail issues such as infection or fungus and is non toxic! 😉
I don’t have any hacks but I try to focus on one room at a time.
I like to save my citrus peels and put them down the disposal after anything else. Makes for a great natural freshener.
Do one room at a time! Don’t overwhelm yourself with an entire house. One room at a time, one room a week, top to bottom. Within 6 weeks, you should have most of the house totally clean!

Set up a daily schedule and FOLLOW IT to get all spring cleaning done.
i have a tote with my cleaning products and paper towels that I can carry from room to room
The only spring cleaning hack I have is how much you can clean with rubbing alcohol (use one part alcohol to 3 parts water diluted in a spray bottle). It is quite effective for many household uses- counters, floors, sinks, tub/tile,etc.
I try to to stick to one job and completely finish it before starting another. When I do a huge clean I want it all done and can jump from task to task and it makes me feel like I never really finish any of them.
Vinegar is one of my favorite cleaning products. So many uses!
Use baking soda and vinegar to clean out the tub and drains. It leaves them sparkly clean!
I wish I did have some hacks to share, but I’m not much of a spring cleaner! I do love Magic Erasers, we use them around the house for a few different purposes! 🙂
No I don’t have any hacks.. I just try to do it when I feel like it.
I clean my windows with vinegar and water and newspaper.
No hacks here. Just recommend the annual deep spring cleaning!
I just use natural cleaners and essential oils so it is safe around my family.
I use Mandarin Orange essential oil to make my house smell fresh. I put a few drops in a water bottle and mix it with warm water.
I try to do a little of spring cleaning project around the house each weeks
Not really a Hack but I Hate Spring Cleaning…So I just turn on the radio and start. Getting started is the hardest part because once you’re in the jobs just seem to line right up. One leads into another and so on and as long as I don’t stop I’m good to go and have the Best sleep ever afterwards.
I wish I did, but I’m not a very good spring cleaner.
I don’t think I really have any hacks. I use magic erasers since a friend turned me on to them. Love them!
I started using vinegar and water to clean most things in my house. Apple cider vinegar leaves a nice smell. I do love magic erasers, though!
I try to do little “spring cleaning” projects throughout the year because I don’t like to tackle it all at once.
I love soft scrub it works on many problem areas
No real hacks. I heard this will get rid of scuff marks on wooden floors and I want to do that
I use a water vinegar mix to spring clean my walls and baseboards instead of cleaners
I pack an entire small box of baking soda and a cut up lemon (or just the peels if I used the juice) and (yes) ice into the disposall then I turn it on!
*Yike* the link to follow “Kristen” (and I don’t know who that is, goes here: https://www.instagram.com/krisko72/ (a dead link!), but I took the entry too fast. What to do? Who is that? Let me know and I will find her and follow her.
We like to do one room at a time. By taking it one room at a time, we can really focus on it and clean it correctly.
I use the least toxic of products.
keep a spray bottle of vinegar and water in kitchen and bathroom or wherever you need it to be handy.
I use baking soda, hot water and lemon to do Spring cleaning.
I use newspaper to clean the windows as they are drying. It helps keep streaks down to a minimum if at all.
I use denture tabs to help clean the toilets. I also use plain vinegar and newspaper to clean the windows and glass.
I always wait until all the pollen is done flying through the air before washing windows and screens.
I’ve taught my son how to use lemons, vinegar, and baking soda to clean our sink after washing dishes. He likes to see the bubbles and I like the fresh scent of lemons.
My hacks are to try natural cleaners. Like vinegar, baking soda and other combinations of oils and stuff.
