Pampers Prize Pack Giveaway #PampersSleepChat (ends 03/06/15)

I know that timezone changes can be hard on everyone. Even though my kids love the fall when they get that “extra hour” of sleep, the quickly remember that they lose that “extra hour” come early spring.
This year, Daylight Saving Time is quickly approaching on March 8th and, for many moms, that leads to nervousness and anxiety about their baby’s sleep patterns.
The time transition of “springing forward” is so top-of-mind for parents that a recent survey conducted by Pampers found that 77% are concerned with Daylight Saving Time affecting their child’s sleep pattern. More than half of parents surveyed dread the anticipated disruption to their child’s sleep schedule more than tax season!
Another survey conducted by Pampers found that nearly one-quarter of mothers (24%) felt that a dry diaper was the number one thing that enabled their baby to sleep through the night.
Through Pampers’ extensive research on sleep, they’ve learned that babies are more vulnerable to waking up when they’re wet. And a dry night means baby is more likely to be more rested, less fussy and more content the next day.
That’s why across their entire line, Pampers diapers offer up to 12 hours of overnight protection and are up to three times drier than ordinary diapers to help babies get the uninterrupted sleep they need for a great morning.
As you transition into the new time on March 8th, make sure to have plenty of Pampers on hand to give your little one and yourself a restful week.
Please RSVP & join @Pampers on March 3rd from 9-10pmEST as they host a Twitter Party with renowned sleep expert, “The Sleep Lady,” Kim West! Kim will be sharing her tips for helping little ones through the Daylight Saving Time sleep transition and will also be answering your questions regarding baby sleep! To follow along, follow the party hashtag – #PampersSleepChat

We don’t really do anything. I just try to stick to our normal schedule and our daughter adjusts in a day or two.
We don’t do anything it usually just works itself out after a day or two.
What works for us is having black out curtains so that the room is very dark. We have a small night light for both kids and also use a white noise machine for each of them. So far, so good! We have been through a couple time changes and no problems! Julie [email protected]
I try my best to keep to my regular schedule and keep my daughters routine the same. Also I make sure we both get to bed at a decent time.
I let her lead her own schedule. That being said we havent traveled to another time zone.
My daughter isn’t really bothered by it.
I do my best to stick to routines! Routines have always been so important when raising my 2 year old.
We haven’t experienced this quite yet. I plan to go on vacation this Christmas overseas and we will likely just try to get rest a few days before on the new schedule to prepare.
We try to stick with the same routine but adjust to the new time, but we’ll start 1/2 hour later or earlier dependent on if we’re gaining/losing an hour. I’ll set the alarm too, just in case mom and dad can’t wake up in time! 🙂
Go to bed early! I hate the time change! It takes at least 1 week for my body to adjust….
It does not really effect us. Never had a problem with changes
It doesn’t really effect us. We just continue as normal.
I guess it’s just me, but I never had any problems with time changes! It just stinks when it’s the time change that makes you wake up an hour early! 😉
Sleep sooner
I will try to keep our schedule as close to what it was as possible. This will be my first time so I am hoping it goes well!
With my newborn…i’ve lost track of time enough as it is!
normally when meals are consistent with keeping the same time, that helps!
We try to adjust our sleep schedules to match!
I try to schedule my sleep so that it is always at the same times.
