The Shirley J Biscuit and Baking Mix creates biscuits that have that melt-in-your-mouth texture. You don’t have to use this mix only to create biscuits, it could be used in a variety of applications to compliment any meal. They also have Breakfast items, Seasonings, and Mugging mixes (small mixes that can create delicious items in a coffee mug within minutes)! Plus, my favorite feature is that the Shirley J website provides you with numerous recipes that you can sort by product to help give you a large variety of ways to use these fantastic mixes. If you are looking for a way to make cooking easier day to day then you definitely need to add Shirley J products to your kitchen!
Here is one of my favorite things to use the with the Shirley J Whisk Bliss. It is so simple to make and it tastes amazing!
BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 c. Shirley J Whisk Bliss Original
- 1 lbs Fresh Broccoli Cut Into Bite-Size Pieces
- 6 c. Water
- 3 c. Cheddar Cheese, Grated
DIRECTIONS:
In large stock pot combine broccoli and 3 cups of the water, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Add remaining water and Whisk Bliss Original and stir well. Bring mixture back to a boil and add cheese, simmer for 3-5 minutes. Serve. Garnish individual bowls of soup with shredded cheese, if desired.
