If you have kids about 5 years and older, you may have noticed the comeback in ‘friendship bracelets’. The difference between our friendship bracelets of the late 80’s and now is the the structure of these bracelets. When I was younger, our friendship bracelets were yarn and string. They still have these available, but they make it hard to engage the younger kids. My son is 6 and the kids his age can craft with the bands a lot easier than the yarn. I remember being a kid and we would make a bunch of bracelets and set up a table at our neighborhood entrance and sell bracelets and cookies.
