Tribes-A-Dozen Voilà! Hallah Egg Bread Mix #Review

I had heard of hallah bread before, but had never tried it before. When I was contacted by Tribes-A-Dozen to try their Voilà! Hallah Egg Bread Mixes, I knew I couldn’t pass it up!

With Tribes-A-Dozen, they’re all about kosher hallah (or challah bread), wholesome and all natural bread. Even though Hallah bread does have a deep spiritual meaning in the Jewish faith, the traditional egg bread has been enjoyed in many cultures and embraced by both Kosher and non-Kosher families.

If you’re not exactly sure what hallah, or challah bread, is, it’s a classic egg bread that has been baked in homes for generations all around the world. The Tribes-A-Dozen Traditional has a blend of premium ingredients and bakes into a fragrant Hallah bread. There’s just a few simple ingredients: unbleached unenriched wheat flour, unbleached and enriched wheat flour (niacin, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, folic acid, malted barley flour, turbinado sugar, se salt, and organic flour.

The traditional Hallah egg Bread was very easy to make. You just needed the mix, plus 2 eggs and vegetable oil. I baked it in the traditional braided style, but the box does instruct you how to bake it in a regular loaf pan.

The taste of this Hallah bread was very delicious. It’s great by itself, but I think it would be even better as a bread pudding or french toast as well! At a retail value of $5.99 you get a great qualit hallah bread mix that I would definitely enjoy again!
