VEX Robotics Hook Shot Ball Machine Review
Do you have a child in your life that loves to build things? I’m excited to tell you about the VEX Robotics Hook Shot Ball Machine. It is sure to be a hit with him or her on their birthday or for a holiday gift.
Did you know that VEX Robotics is the newest line from HEXBUG? HEXBUG is a company made up of engineers and roboticists, so they know how important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is. That’s what the VEX Robotics kits are for – engaging kids in STEM through hands-on building. They will not only have fun playing with the toys, but will get an understanding of the mechanics behind them. What a great concept!
The VEX Robotics Hook Shot Ball Machine challenges kids to not only Build Your Brain, but to do so while constructing a rollercoaster-style ball machine at the same time. After you build it, just turn the knob by hand to watch the gears turn, the axles twist, and the balls roll. You can even attached a motor kit to it to add power. There over 180 pieces to put together – and they are easy connect snap pieces that do not require tools, which is very nice. It require 3-5 hours of building time, so it is an Intermediate level. There are two alternative builds available – a copter and a pirate ship. It’ great being able to make multiple things from one kit!
You can purchase the VEX Robotics Hook Shot Ball Machine on the HEXBUG website, or many different online stores such as Amazon, Toys R Us, and Ebay. It will make an awesome birthday or holiday gift for the girl or boy in your life!
