I love to give gifts that are useful. One thing I am always on the lookout to stop is germs and bacteria. There’s a pretty cool product by Violife that helps stop those germs and bacteria on toothbrushes!
Violife started backed in 2004. Their original product was the Original Countertop Sanitizer. As the business grew, they added more UV products for oral care, including travel toothbrush holders, denture and mouthguard cleaners, and more. Violife is all about bringing style and smart function to everything they bring their consumers.
The Zapi Luxe is a UV toothbrush sanitizer. They are pretty cool looking egg shaped devices that help eliminate up to 99.9% of germs with a UV light. The Zapi Luxe won the International Housewares Design Award back in 2009, so you know it’s a pretty good product. It uses a proven germicidal UV light technology to eliminate 99.9% of germs and bacteria, including H1N1, E. Coli, Staph, Salmonella, and Listeria. There are 6 designs to choose from, including 3 kid designs, so your toothbrush sanitizer can be fun for them!
Zapi Luxe is only 5″ in length and 2″ wide so it fits great on our bathroom vanity. It uses 3 AA batteries (not included) and has a germicidal UV bulb that lasts up to 8,000 hours. I love that it comes with a free manual toothbrush, as well. We had just opened a new toothbrush last month, so we’re going to use that one for another month or so. You can also insert the heads from electric toothbrushes in it, as well. After you brush your teeth, you just insert your toothbrush or brush head into the insertion slot on top, then hit the circle button on the front and in 6 minutes your toothbrush will be sanitized! And you don’t have to worry about turning it off yourself – after 6 minutes it goes off automatically.
