I had to use one of these when the power went out in North Carolina about 10 years ago. We were without power for almost a week. Having the radio to listen to and information updates about what the weather was going to do next was nice! Plus, the LED Flashlight was very helpful at night when it was so dark you could not see your hand in front of your face!
