My favorite time of the year is Christmas. My Dad and I used to do the decorating and then Mom would join us in the shopping. After Christmas, my Dad would taking me shopping and buy me one special ornament to begin the next Christmas with. To this day, though Dad is in Heaven, I continue this tradition.

I love thanksgiving with the family getting together and there is not the stress of having to find gifts. I come from a large family and I am thrilled when even some of us can get together.
