I am a novice canner, but starting to gain some experience.
I would love to learn how to can:)
I’m a novice but I’d love to do more canning. The first thing I would can is tomato sauce.
I am neither a novice or an expert but somewhere in between. I remember making sauce and canning tomatoes with my mother and always turning that darn crank on the vegetable strainer to make it. I have her receipe but just havent found the time to make any yet this year. Mom and I just made a batch of apple butter a few weeks ago and are ready for some more ! !
I’m a novice a canning and I’m trying to add more to my supplies so that I can do more canning. I have done jam and green beans and a few other things. I really love knowing exactly what is in our food and having extra on hand for emergencies and using my own veggies. 🙂
I have never canned anything in my life, but I want to learn! My grandparents always canned veggies and fruits and it was always such a treat to have those fresh foods in the winter time when they wouldn’t have been available otherwise! I would love to share that experience with my children, and to pass on the knowledge once I learn how!
I have never canned before, would love to start canning though. It would be a good way to preserve extras from the garden.
i would love to win the 100 year anniversary jars, they are beautiful
I have never canned before, but I want to! I’m sick of not knowing whats all going into my kids bellies when we feed them store bought stuff!
I like to can jam…it’s all I know how to can!
Never canned before
Somewhat of a novice, am experimenting with small batch canning currently
I am a novice canner, but would love to have the proper tools to be able to do more. My niece & I have made various relishes… the best being a Spicy pear Relish that is delicious on garden peas. We also make Hot Pepper Jelly also a family favorite! Holly is going to teach me to make a Fig / Strawberry Jam she did last summer as soon as our figs are ripe. It is SUBLIME!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed!
Still a novice but have tried my hand at tomatoes, pickles, and peaches.
I am just learning to can, I canned some apple sauce and attempted black berry jam.
I’m definitely a novice as I have only ever canned pickles from the cucumbers that I grew in my garden last year. I would like to can homemade salsa, and homemade spaghetti sauce from the tomatoes in my garden.
I have never canned before!
I just stumbled in here while searching for Ball and canners. I am without a canner and a rack so I am using a big pot. lol I am in the process of making a small batch of tomatoes to can. I have them peeled and ready to go. I have made jelly and other veggies decades ago. After nearly 30 years of marriage my life turned upside down with a divorce. During this time lots of my belongings were distributed to other people and my canner was one of the items among many to not be with me now. I am happy now and newly married. (1 year on the First Day of Summer) 🙂 Anyways, I would love to win this! Thanks. lol
Somewhere in the middle lol. Been doing it for about 8 yrs but there is always more to learn.
