Writing about How to Burn Fat While You Are Sleeping
Today’s article is on something that sounds too good to be true and that is how to lose weight in your sleep. Yes, it is possible and no, it does not involve you having to do magic. So, without any further ado, let’s together – with https://papercheap.co.uk team – get into the nighttime routine that will have you shedding pounds while you snooze.
Nighttime Routine
It is a night time, the sun has gone down and it is a few hours before you are going to be getting to sleep. And if you have not already, you should go ahead and eat dinner or get any snacking out of the way. Because the first thing you need to do is to make sure you do not eat for a few hours before bed. Pay attention, it has nothing to do with stop eating after 6 p.m., it is rather about stop eating for 2 or 3 hours before your sleep.
The thing is, when you eat food, it triggers the hormone called insulin which tells your body to stop burning its own body fat for fuel and instead switch over to the sugar in the meal you just ate. If you eat the last bite of food at 8 p.m. and go to bed at 11 or 12 p.m., your insulin will have calmed down enough to let your body go back to burning its own fat and you can have 8 hours of uninterrupted body fat burning. So, set up a bedtime, dial back 3 hours and that is when the kitchen is closed for the night.
Do Not Work out
Now, we have a few hours before bedtime. How are we going to spend it? Well, whatever you do, do not work out. I never thought I would hear myself say that. While exercise usually helps promote a deep restful sleep, doing it within a few hours of bedtime can get you so hyped up that you can’t calm down in time for bed. So, when the kitchen closes, so does the gym.
Now we are back to our earlier dilemma, what to do? You can start by taking a hot bath or shower. The hot water can relieve tension and soothe our sore muscles which will help our body relax and get ready for our next tip.
Doing Yoga or Simple Stretching
It further relaxes your muscles and helps give you time to focus on your breathing, clear the mind and just meditate. While the stretches help to relax your body, the meditation helps to calm down the mind for deep sleep and sweet dreams. But when we talk about simple and easy yoga poses before bed, we are not counting that as an exercise. Just do not break out the sprint intervals at 9 p.m.
Forget about Your Cellphone
So, we have meditated, we are feeling Zen and we are ready to have a restful night. But what do we do next? Check our Instagram account. I have some bad news for you, the light from smartphones and tablets can disrupt your body’s production of melatonin and metabolism, which is what’s supposed to be burning your belly fat. We know, so many cute cat videos, so little times. It is time to rely on an ancient form of entertainment – books. Yes, a physical book where you turn the pages with your hands and not by tapping the edge of a screen.
Turn Off the Light
Once you put the book down, turn off all the lights in your bedroom. Yes, even that nightlight that may be the only thing saving you from the monster under your bed. We are going to have to take a chance. Because while you may think you are immune to such distractions, any light may make it hard for your brain to shut down. That metabolism boosting hormone melatonin is produced when you are in complete darkness. So, maybe you need to invest in some blackout curtains.
All right, it is time for the final task. This is all have been leading to sleep. When you do not get at least seven hours of sleep per night, you are missing out on REM sleep, that deep, restful stage where you burn the most calories. Also, a lack of sleep can slow down your metabolism while increasing the production of cortisol – the stress hormone. It is definitely is going to increase your craving for junk food. Start boosting your metabolism from this night forward and save some money not for the gym but for travel.
