Halloween is my favorite time of year. Fall, football, festivals and so much more. Taking my kids out to trick-or-treat was always such fun for me when they were younger. Watching as their buckets get filled with candy and then coming home and watching them dump it all out as if they had just hit the big jackpot. Even with all the fun and excitement, I always monitored their candy intake.

Halloween is only 3 weeks away. Don’t get spooked though, because I have a way to make sure that this year your treats have no tricks. What do I mean by tricks? well I mean artificial sweeteners, dyes or other ingredients. I mean pure sugar, dyed and flavored with God knows what and wrapped in festive packaging to the delight of children and the dismay of parents.
Just because it is Halloween does not mean kids need to gorge on terrible unhealthy candy. Long gone are the days when you can hand out (or receive) apples. Too many terrible people ruined that. Even popcorn balls would be a much better choice, but that is pretty much out too.
What is a parent to do? How about a treat that is individually wrapped, All Natural, Gluten Free, Soy-Free, Dairy-Free, Peanut-Free, Tree Nut Free, Fat-Free, 100% Vegan, contains no MSG, no artificial dyes, and no High Fructose Corn Syrup and is Certified Organic? YumEarth has lots of tasty treats, but my favorites are the lollipops. They are to die for.
They come in 8 different flavors! You can’t even get 8 flavors from most lollipop brands, and even if you do, they all taste nearly the same, like syrupy junk.
The flavors are: Very Cherry, Gooey Grape, Too Berry Blueberry, Mango Tango, Strawberry Smash, Sour Apple Tart, Pomegranate Pucker and Wet-Face Watermelon. All the flavors are out of this world. I mean where else can you even get a mango or pomegranate lollipop?
They all taste so good that it is impossible to choose a favorite. Instead, my favorite quality is tat 3 lollipops is only 70 calories and zero fat. Delicious and guilt free, a winning combination. Best of all, my kids love them too, even my autistic son, who is VERY picky about everything.
As fantastic as these lollipops are, I also wanted something that is a little more of a snack(more filling), but just as delicious and healthy. That is where YumEarth’s Fruit Snacks come in.
My son is fruit snack obsessed, so it was no surprise that he loves these. He will eat 2 or 3 packs at a time if I let him, which is really not a problem since they are so good for him.
Not only are they delicious and contain 100% Vitamin C, but each pack has less than 75 calories(and zero fat). The convenient packaging makes them perfect to pack in his school lunch or to carry in my purse for snacks on the go. Plus, just look how cute they are.
