• I wanted a parrot one year and my parents tried to hide it from me in the spare bedroom until Christmas. It squawked so loud and so often that despite the excuses they made for all the weird noises, it wasn’t much of a surprise come Christmas morning.

• It would be the year we got a foozeball game and also air hockey table.

• A typewriter that I begged my parents for almost all year. I even wrote a note telling them about how it would help with writing reports and homework.

• One of those toy kitchens! I made tons of pizza and tacos out of play-doh with that thing!

• I don’t remember how old I was, but it was a game called “Run Yourself Ragged” I loved that game and played it a million times, and, of course, was a pro at it!!

• the first christmas my boyfriend and i together he bought me a new tv and i loved it so much.

• The 1st year my family and I lived in Berlin,Germany. we got a lot of snow and gifts from st. Nick.
  Now that I am a mom, we let St.Nick visit here too !!

• The Christmas when my brother and I found out the truth about Santa Claus. I always said I would make sure when the time came, my own would never find out in a way that traumatizes them.

• My fav was when I gave my brother in law some Toe Socks, you know the ones where it has the little spot for each toe. Whole family got a kick out of it and we just love to ask him about them. 🙂 LOL

• I remember one year after my parents taught me not many people were as lucky as I was at Christmas and I remember I got socks that year as a gift and it was one of my fav gifts I have a three year old dd and I just hope I do as good of a job to teach her the spirit of giving 🙂
