5 Haircare Hacks to Help Stop Hair Loss #TryKerMax
Disclosure: This post was written by me. While I was compensated for my time and effort, all opinions remain 100% mine.
My family has such a diverse style of hair style. My hair is thinner, yet curly, while my daughters hair is thick and straight. Ever since my first pregnancy, I was losing hair and it was truly a shock for me.
I learned early on that I need to not over process my hair with things like the flatiron, blow dryer, curling iron and more. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and that has really become more prominent as I get older. While I know that you cannot completely stop the aging process, slowing it down is easy with these simple hacks to save your hair.
- Reduce stress – we all know that life can come with its fair share of ups and downs and seems like a roller coaster ride at times. Take time for yourself, treat your skin and hair to a soothing “time out” with a relaxing bath. Adding some lavender into the water will relax your senses and your mood.
- Eat a balanced diet – Keeping rich vitamins in your diet that include Vitamin A, protein and vegetables will keep your roots strong, shiny and healthy, thus lengthening the life of your hair.
- Keep yourself well with vitamins and nutrients – We all have heard the proverbial “you are what you eat” which is true, but we are really more than that. It is essential to enrich your body and hair with the right vitamins and nutrients to keep them health, strong and full of life.
- Avoid smoking – Research has shown that smoking can cause premature hair loss and weakness. Smoking is bad for your health and your hair, so avoiding the harmful toxins in cigarettes and other tobacco products will keep your scalp and hair healthy.
- Use the right products – As extremely important as it is to take care of what you put into your body for your hair health, it is even more important to take care of what you put ON your hair. Treating your hair with products life KerMax™ help give your hair life and strength. KerMax™ products are a drug-free, over-the-counter answer to hair loss and hair thinning concerns. These look like great products that I may need to try!!
Like everyone else, I try to not wash my hair everyday. When I do, I make sure to rinse with cold water and pat-dry my hair!
Overall i would have to say I consume this product for healthy hair
I have found that using a collagen supplement has helped my hair and nails tremendously. I would use the shampoo and conditioner in the shower and the serum afterwards.
My hair is fine and thin and I try to use gentle shampoo and condition is regularly. I hope these products can benefit my hair and restore some of its youthful shine and health.
I probably need some tips! I do not know many. The only thing I can tell you is do not shampoo and condition your hair daily… it strips the natural oils from you hair
For my hair, conditioner is a must. My hair doesn’t get much more than shampoo and conditioner so the serum would be a real treat.
My “hair care tip” is to take a good hair/skin/nails Biotin supplement. It has made a difference for me. I would love to try this hair care line, as I tend to have frizzies!
I could definitely use this! My hair is fried!!! lol
My hair could use some serious help 😉 I’d love to try it
My hair has gotten thinner than it used to be, so this would be wonderful to try.
I make sure to condition my hair and also to spray in a conditioner
I use Went most of the time.. Would love to find something that reallyworks correct thicker stronger healthier hair
I have been suffering hair loss the last few years. I have tried so many products to thicken it & slow down the thinning process but, so far nothing has helped. I would love to try this product.
I like to moisturize my hair and condition my hair.
I wrap my hair with a special hair towel and leave it on for a little while to pull out the water dont rub your head it will really mess up your hair breaking it.
I usually do a deep conditioner at least once a week. I would switch over to this brand to see if it could bring back my beautiful hair.
I only wash my hair with a gentle shampoo twice a week and use conditioner.
The only tip I can think of is don’t over wash your hair and don’t use really hot water. I would switch my shampoo and conditioner to The KerMax hair care products to help my hair hopefully get stronger and thin less.
I don’t have any tips, but I would love to try this out.
I use a conditioner to get as much of the tangles out and hope less hair falls out. A goof system like KerMax sounds like the answer to my problems.
Only tip I could think of is to wash every other day. My hair problem is natural curly and dry scalp so I’d use the serum on those days when it’s really muggy out to keep the frizz away.
I do not have any good tips. I need good tips for my dry and brittle hair. I would love to try this shampoo
Oops, I hit comment before I got in how I would use theses products, sorry bout that!! :/// I’m new to this product line and would love the chance to try it!! :)) I would follow the advice of others who have used it!! That’s why I sooo appreciate bloggers, it’s awesome to have advice before trying out a product!! :)))
I used to wash my hair and if I was running late, which was quite often, lol, I would throw it up on a top knot. I didn’t realize that I was just making my hair break at different lengths as it dried. I’ve stopped doing it but it definitely took a look ng time to grow out all the broken ends. So my top tip is be gentle with wet hair!! :)))
My hair is fine and thin so I would love to try these products! My tip is to not use heat styling tools everyday.
When you are done washing rinse with cool or cold water to help close the hair off keeps hydration in and prevents split ends
ii don’t really care for my hair a whole lot. which I need to…. thats why I want to try this line of products
I use conditioner to make my hair easier to comb in the shower.
My tip is to blot your hair not scrub it with your towel.
My hair is 67 years old and is thinning.
Thanks for the contest.
I have fine hair and recently learned that I should only be putting conditioner on the end of my hair and not all over.
I love my HAIR to be sleek and shiny and will often do a Mayonaise Deep Conditioner. BUT, I’m really concerned about slowly losing my hair along the temples and front hairline and NEEDS SOME REAL HELP with balding!
My only tip is to not wash your hair every day – seems to work for me in not stripping your hair so much.
I’d use the serum on those days when it’s really muggy out to keep the frizz away.
thank!
I love using argon oil on my hair. Gives great shine.
A tip I have for dry scalp or dandruff is apple cider vinegar. You put it on your scalp once a week. Let it sit for 5 minutes then, wash it out
My hair starts breaking off at the part line of my hair for some reason every winter, I would like to try these products out to see if they help my hair.
I really don’t have any tips to share, but my hair has started to thin in the last 2 years. I really would like to try the Kermax products.
Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for these tips!! The KerMax product sounds really interesting. I did some research this morning and have found a few other articles and blogs recommending this product. Definitely going to try it out!
Thanks!!
My hair has been thinning for about 5 years. It’s super hard no to stress about it. All my doctors say it’s normal. It’s really been hard for me to watch. I’m afraid that I won’t have any hair let in a few more years. 🙁 Thanks for the article. Have a great day.
I have completed all the above listed hints for hair growth except finding the right products. The KerMax™ hair care system sounds like the perfect solution to my hair care needs.
I would use the shampoo and condition when I shower and the serum when I dry my hair. I like to change shampoos and conditioners every so often because it seems like my hair gets used to them and doesn’t do so well.
