Berry-Licious Dessert Cup Recipe with Mott’s Fruity Snacks

As the mother of small children it seems as if I am always battling with one of the kids to eat what I have prepared for them! My 4 year old is in a phase where he will refuse just about anything you place in front of him. He shoves his plate away and says “No thank you. Get me a treat from the cabinet please…”

My friends assure me that someday he will eat veggies, fruits and everything else that he can find! Someday he will eat us out of house and home to be exact. While I know that is true, it doesn’t make my Mommy Anxiety any less present. I want to feed both of my kids healthy food everyday, and I want their experiences with food to not involve a battle!

When I was grocery shopping earlier this week I noticed some beautiful blackberries on sale. I thought my daughter would gobble them up and I held onto a glimmer of hope that my son would too, if I got creative. Rather than just risk offering him a bowl of berries, which I know would have been refused with a “No thank you!” I created a berry-licious dessert cup recipe that my kids couldn’t resist!

The best part about this recipe is that it is super easy to make. It requires no baking, and virtually no prep time. This is a treat you can have ready in about 2 minutes! It uses fresh fruit and something my kids are crazy for- Mott’s Fruity Centers Fruit Snacks!

How do you entice your kids to eat fresh fruits and vegetables? Do you have any tips or tricks to share with me to help eliminate the meal time battles?
