Boylan Winter Wonderland Soda #Review & #Giveaway
I recently received a Winter Wonderbox from Boylan Bottling Co. which consists of 12 bottles, 4 flavors (3 bottles of each) – including Root Beer, Black Cherry, Creamy Red Birch Beer and Ginger Ale. The Winter Wonderbox contains a great variety of flavors! I couldn’t wait to crack them open!!
I immediately tried the Root Beer First and placed the others in the fridge to chill. Root beer is one of my favorite sodas to drink so I tried that one first. The first thing I noticed was that it wasn’t overly carbonated like many other sodas. The low amount of carbonation and the nice, rich flavor make this root beer a new one on my list of favorites.
Within a few days of receiving my package, ironically I got the stomach flu. I immediately started drinking a Boylan Ginger Ale. This was so rich and smooth and made my stomach feel at ease and much better.
The Black Cherry was my daughter’s favorite flavor. I didn’t even get to try it because she drank them all, but take her word for it and the fact that they were gone it two days, she LOVE THEM.
The Creamy Red Birch Beer was a unique drink that I had not tried before. Oh man! This is my favorite out of all of them! As with the root beer, the birch beer is low in carbonation. It also has a nice, light, smooth taste which is not overwhelming.
Boylan Bottling’s hand-crafted sodas are sweetened with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup and are packaged in thick glass bottles that come in a wide variety of vintage flavors. I have used the bottles as candle pillars and given some to my neighbors to do the same. THEY LOVE THEM.
