He began to take notice of people juggling with their umbrellas while attempting to use their tech devices, while workers were left completely exposed to the elements…. which sparked an idea. He envisioned what a 21st century alternative weather protection device could look like. He thought why not wear it instead of holding it. He sketched it – and Nubrella was born! From there, Alan worked with several leading product design and engineering firms to bring his vision to life.Nubrella has rebranded and is now called Canope. We did this because we are not a traditional umbrella and our huge value proposition of providing revolutionary new sun protection. Umbrellas are not typically known for sun protection although many uncomfortably hold one for lack of any other viable option.
