Chi Candle, a candle company, owned and operated by wife and husband team, was founded by Chi in Menifee, a city in southwestern Riverside County, California in 2013.
We make our candles in small batches, and we have developed our unique formula and pouring process. This formula enhances the scent-throw, and maintain a longer burn time.All of our candles are hand poured using domestically grown soy wax, environment-safe cotton wicks, fine fragrance oils, apothecary inspired jars, packaged, and shipped from our Murrieta, California studio.
Each candle comes in a classic glass jar with a glass stopper-style lid and has frosty appearance. The look alone is enough to make any candle lover such as myself squee in delight. Once you get them open, then the real transformation begins.
The aromatic transition of books scent takes me to a place that is perfect for journaling and having a bit of quiet reflective time to pen my thoughts or submerge into a good book. The mood is set, the book is chosen, the candle is lit and – VOILA! – I am in another world for several hours, reading cover to cover and delighting in the soft scent of books, new or old, blended with the natural smell of the pages within my hands.

My favorite in these candles would be the Black Raspberry Vanilla. I like that they are made from soy.

I have to say… this was a pretty uniquie idea. Somehow they remind me of my granny’s house, I think because she has a small room that had books everywhere along the walls. You walked into it and it had this unique smell of old books. Just for the beautiful reminder of a happy time, I’m going to have to try them. Thanks for introducing me to Chi Candles.

Never heard of book scents, but it’s pretty cool because even the smell of books smell pretty good like it’s odd but kinda interesting.

When I was a kid, I loved to go to the library. I loved to read there but I also loved the smell of the books bound in leather. I’ve never seen candles that smell like books before. I’d love to try these candles.

Soy candles are the best and one vender told me you can dip your fingers in the warm wax and then rub into hands it makes your hands so soft I love it I do it when I burn the so candles.

What a good idea these scents are! I like a lot of candle scents, but so many are similar to others. I’ve never thought about having a scent based on books, but I bet my grandson and daughter would love these – they both prefer “real” books over ebooks.
