• a metro security didnt give me a $75 fine for swiping the wrong metro card.. she just re swipped the good one and told me to make sure i use the right one nect time

• friend helps me with my boys when im cooking.

• The other day at school, a teacher helped get my daughter out the car instead of me having to get out in the rain

• my friend will make a cake some times

• My aunt lives alone, and sometimes she’ll make us dinner and a dessert!

• Just last week a friend that I have never met in person asked to send me money to have my computer fixed because she was afraid to miss my fb posts! I have met so many Wonderful Souls on fbook!

• Anew co worker brought me in a duncan donuts coffee!! I love duncan donuts coffee..

• 1 time when i was sleeping in my car cause i have been homeless a police officer paid for a motel room out of his own pocket… the sweetest thing ever!

• I was in a sling for 3-weeks from surgery. The neighbors kept my grass cut each week at no charge 😀

• The year my husband lost his job, our church brought Christmas gifts for our children and boxes and boxes of food. It was so nice to know that people supported us!!

• After my house fire- the entire community & my “work” community chipped, stepped up and helped beyond belief- not just material things but the love & support- that works for me….

• When I left my ex, my mom paid my rent at my new location for 3 months so I could get on my feet again.

• my mom bought my 4 kids Christmas one year because I had no money what so ever to do it myself

• I was in line at Walgreens, and of course I was loaded down with goodies and a man standing in line behind me had a few things, so I had him go in front of me and he turned around before walking out the door and handed me a new five dollar bill. I didn’t want to take it but everyone around me insisted. That really surprised me and I still have that five dollar bill.

• I was very pregnant and my fiance was taking me to a doctor’s appointment when one of my tires literally exploded. The bolts were on way too tight for him to get off with the tire wrench that came with my car, so several of the men in the neighborhood noticed us struggling and came out to help, offer water, and each tried their hand at getting the bolts loose. We were so thankful they all came out into the summer heat to help us!

• When I was pregnant with my youngest a year and a half ago I ended up on bed rest with 4 other children and my husband working 30 day shifts out of state. My church, friends and family all came together to help with the other children, providing rides for the children to school, karate and soccer practice, they fix meals and just helped in general

• A few weeks ago we really needed $ for some groceries…. a complete stranger saw our
  request and he bought us a $100 gift card and gave us $50 from his own money.
  That just made us believe there are still kind people here and how much we can
  help each other in times of need.

• i swiped the wrong metro card onthe subway and at the other end they were checking..turns out i could of gotten fined $75 but the security just re swyped my cards and told me to double check next time

• I had someone pay for my whole families supper because they said that they have never seen kids behave as good as my kids did while we were eating.

• My grandchildren hug me every time they see me and tells me they love me wanting nothing in return, except my love. I do more than anything besides their mother, my daughter.

• A woman I barely knew threw me a baby shower when we moved to a new state for my husband’s job (military) and I didn’t have any close friends nearby. It really made me feel welcomed!

• my in-laws took us in when we lost our house

• Thanks to the friends that help with the little extras for my10 grandkids.

• I am pregnant and kind of starting all over since our youngest is 12 yrs old. A friend offered us a ton of baby stuff so we don’t have to buy everything all over again!

• Last Christmas I was shopping and a woman stopped me and asked if she could give my daughter a gift..I was a little leery but said ok. I took the small envelope she handed me and said thank you. In it was a bunch of small toys and a walmart gift card. I ended up giving the gift card to someone I heard needed it more then me, it was such a blessing to see there are still good people in the world.

• a lady has been sending my kids clothes and is gonna send them christmas presents and we have never even met her

• this man at the store behind me paid for all my stuff with his when all i needed was 50 cents!

• 🙂 my boyfriend opened the car door for me…
  i know it sounds silly, but its a simple gesture that he does now and then and it means alot to me!!
