Cross Pens is celebrating the 125th anniversary of their Peerless Collection. The American company has been around for 168 years (do you know of many other American companies as old?) Cross is America’s oldest manufacturer of fine writing instruments was established in 1846 by Richard Cross and Edward W. Bradbury in Providence, RI. Cross writing instruments are now sold in 89 countries.
The Cross Pen Co. created its very first fountain pen in Providence, Rhode Island in 1846. It was called “Peerless” because it had no peers to match its exquisite design, and quickly became an American classic.
They are celebrating 125 years of the Peerless Collection and honoring “peerless individuals” who have made a difference in all of our lives. From teachers to law enforcement, celebrity mentors (like Sylvester Stallone) and more, we all have encountered a someone peerless in our lives.
Cross Pens is celebrating their Peerless Pen’s 125th anniversary by bringing back the art of writing and gifting of pens for landmark achievements, both big and small. Cross Pens is launching a contest for the search for the top 125 most Peerless people in the country…. recognizing people who are positive influences in the world.
To celebrate this landmark anniversary, The Cross Pen Co. is is kicking off the celebration by hosting a Twitter Party on Wednesday, January 21st from 8-9pm (ET).
