I try to eat only those things that I really like and I try to eat a small amount. Just enough to satisfy me

I try not to eat any desserts until I eat my meal. Gotta stay away from the yummy desserts.

Use hand sanitizer a lot. Especially around kids.

Make something I don’t like but I know my family does so I won’t eat as much.

My weight has pretty much remained the same since high school “XX” years ago. Before parties or gatherings, I drink a BIG glass of water (fills you up) and I may pick out 2 “treats”; I look all around the room, and then I choose. I don’t have “one of each”; some hosts/hostess put out a spread!!! It’s more important about the company than the consumables!! I also walk a lot! There is nothing more “invigorating” than a brisk walk on a chilly day!! And, I get my annual flu shot without fail!!! Us “Moms” cannot get sick; it’s just NOT permitted! LOL! I would love to be the owner of your scale; mine is 34 years old!!! (Who knows how accurate it is (unless you compare it do a doctors triple beam scale!)
