Emile Henry Small Baking Stone Review
I am a HUGE fan of a baking stone. I use my baking stones for everything from biscuits to chops. When given the chance to review the small baking stone from Emile Henry, I was really excited to test it out in my kitchen.
More about the Emile Henry Small Baking Stone:
The Grilling / Baking Stone is made of all natural materials, and is manufactured using Emile Henry’s proprietary Flame® technology. The Grilling / Baking Stone can withstand high oven temperatures. The glaze is micro-crazed, which contributes to crispy, well-baked dishes. The Grilling / Baking Stone is not recommended for use on the stovetop. You can cut directly on the glazed grilling / baking stone without damaging or scratching the surface. The Grilling / Baking Stone is easy to clean with soap and water and is dishwasher safe. Our Baking/Grilling stone is similar in construction to our pizza stone. Read the raving review from Good Housekeeping on the pizza stone.
You can even download care and handling instructions right from their website.
I started out with basic biscuits for our Sunday dinner. I always have a struggle with my biscuits sticking to the bottom of a pan or sheet and end up ripping them off at the top when trying to remove them from my baking sheet.
As you can see, they turned out a beautiful, golden brown and cooked perfectly on both sides.
And I was excited and overjoyed when the biscuits slid right off the stone and didn’t rip or stick at all!!!
I love my new baking stone and would recommend you pick one up today and try for yourself. Reasonably priced at just $47.00, this is a stone that is a great investment and will last a long time.
Ever wonder how you can make great stir-fry on your outdoor grill? How about pancakes, eggs & bacon? Take your baking stone with you on outings and camping trips and make a tasty meal right on top of the grill.
