About Glass Dharma:
Since March of 2007 GlassDharma has been producing glass drinking straws. The GlassDharma mission is to create world-wide awareness about single use plastics and how damaging plastic straws are to our environment. Glass Straws provide an alternative that eliminates the need for straws made from plastic.
Why Glass Straws?
At GlassDharma, our focus is to do what we can do and what we do best. Single use plastics are not only one of the biggest contributors to plastic pollution, it is also one of the (relatively) easier issues to remedy – at least when it comes to stopping the pollution. Cleaning up what is already there is another topic for discussion. Our company’s focus is on drinking straws.

None. We try to avoid plastics, but especially in the kitchen- both for our own health & the that of the planet. Dharma straws are my favorite, they’ve been on my wishlist for so long .
My son is the only person in our household who uses straws. I would say he goes through maybe 10 per week.
I don’t use plastic straws unless it’s a rare drink outside of the house.
I use about 4 straws a week during the summer.
Maybe 2 straws a week when out for appts..

I usually don’t use plastic straws. I might occasionally at a fast food place.

I was using 14 a wk.–1 every day for water & 1 for everything else. Now, I just use 1 a day, go 7. I drink water without the straw now. I love straws but keep reading negative things about using them, so I cut back by half. I have never seen glass straws so the cheap plastic is all I can use.

I go through about 14. Especially when my granddaughter is here.
I don’t use plastic straws at home, I would say an average of 1 per week from outside meals.
