With the holidays just around the corner, it’s time to start the hunt for gifts to give all the loved ones in your life. Everyone is different, each with their own tastes, which can sometimes make shopping difficult.

But if you know any lovers of technology and gadgets, then here is some inspiration you can use to help you in your quest.

New Console

This year sees the release of the latest generation of games consoles. The Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X are ushering in a new era of gaming with the most powerful devices yet along with new innovations that players will enjoy.

As with any console launch, demand is already far outstripping supply, so you’re likely going to have to work hard to get hold of one in the run-up to Christmas.

But for anyone lucky enough to get their hands on one of these new consoles, months and years of fun are in store with a great selection of release titles, including FIFA 21, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Cyberpunk available to play.

iPhone 12

If you think the tech-lover in your life might prefer a gadget that they can carry with them, then the latest iPhone will definitely go down a treat. It’s the most powerful smartphone that Apple has ever made and packs in 5G connectivity for faster download speeds, this means you can enjoy streaming services like Netflix, PokerStars TV, and Blinkist without having to worry about buffering.

It’s also the strongest iPhone yet, thanks to something called the “Ceramic Shield”. Apple has infused nano-ceramic crystals into the phone’s glass. This makes it up to four times tougher than the iPhone 11, reducing the likelihood of it cracking when it gets dropped. That said, it still makes sense to get an iPhone 12 case

AeroGarden Harvest 360

Does the gadget lover in your life also have green fingers? If so, they’re going to love the AeroGarden Harvest 360. This magic box can take care of plants, including watering them and ensuring that they get the right amount of light.

The innovative design means that plants don’t need soil, they can grow in just water alone, leaving no mess to clean up.

The AeroGarden Harvest 360 also packs in a set of high-efficiency LED lights that will help to ensure plants can grow quickly and to their full potential.

This is great for growing herbs and vegetables indoors and ensuring you’re always cooking with locally grown ingredients.

What makes it particularly handy is that the AeroGarden Harvest 360 takes care of everything. It turns the lights on and off as necessary, waters the plants when they need it, and tells you when to top it up. No thinking required!

Sony PlayStation Classic

If the tech lover in your life has a penchant for all things retro, then the Sony PlayStation Classic might be for them. This mini console looks a lot like the original PlayStation, but it’s much smaller and can be plugged into an HD TV.

You can’t insert discs like the original PlayStation, but it does come pre-loaded with 20 great PlayStation games, including Resident Evil and Final Fantasy VII.

The only downside is that you can’t download or install any extra games without a bit of tinkering, though the tech lover in your life may enjoy the challenge.

La Roche-Posay My Skin Track UV

Does the tech lover in your life care about their skin health and want to make sure they stay healthy? Then they may like the My Skin Track UV Sensor from La Roche-Posay.

This tiny wearable device clips onto your clothing, watch, or glasses and detects the amount of UV light that it is being exposed to. It talks to an app on your smartphone to help you see and track the amount of sun exposure you receive each day.

It also tracks your location to find pollen, humidity, and pollution data, giving you even more information to understand your overall well-being with.

Based on this information, the device will give you skin care tips and recommendations that are tailored to your needs.
