I took my mom on a vacation to one of her favorite places.
The best gift I ever gave my mother was making her a grandmother, with my first born, a daughter. It was rather ironic that my daughter was the same weight and the same length that I was. The second gift is on it’s way, and that being myself graduating from college (a second time) with a degree as an R.N. specializing in Surgical Nursing. That is going to make her proud beyond words, as I started to pursue that right out of H.S; was too young; did well in the career path I took, and now am back at it! You are never too old for education!!!

The best gift I ever gave my mother was a handmade book of original poems and original art my children wrote and created. It was about her and the way she made them feel!
Well she always says the best gift I gave her was when my oldest son was born 2 days after her birthday. She also said I could never do that one again, well I did it again with my youngest only he was 3 days! But to me the best present I ever gave her was when I paid her way from Maine to Cali to visit us!
I knit her an Irish Sweater and I knit her a prayer shawl when she was in the hospital undergoing heart surgery and recovery. Then when she underwent a second surgery in less than six months my father had the shawl around him while she was in surgery. He said it made him feel close to her.
The best gift I ever gave my Mom was when I found out her affinity for Vermont Teddy Bears I had a surprise bear made for her. She was truly surprised
