Lugz Shakedown Shoes Guest Giveaway (Ends 6/16/13)

Still looking for a great gift for dad this Father’s Day? If so, time is running out. Shopping for guys is a really big challenge, especially since every guy is different, and therefore so are their gift preferences.

Some guys want tools, some ties, some food, some video games or movies or gadgets and so on. Could there really be a gift that every guy uses every day, yet that comes in many variations to suit every guys style?

Yes there is. There is something that every guy uses every day. The only way to start the day off on the right foot is to put on the right shoes. And it you want the best shoes, then it has to be Lugz.

My husband has been obsessed with Lugz since before he even got his first pair. When he saw how much I loved my first pair, and what high quality they are, he got jealous and wanted a pair(of men’s shoes of course) for himself.

Of course I was happy to oblige, and the addiction has only grown since then. Any time he needs new shoes, they are always Lugz. In fact, I think he may even make up reasons for needing shoes just to get a new pair.

So naturally, I jumped on board and made Father’s Day the perfect excuse. I could not wait though, and ended up giving them to him early for my son’s kindergarten graduation ceremony. He was thrilled to get them, and now they have a very memorable moment attached to them too.

I got him the Shakedown in White/Black. As always, they are amazing.

 

 

As great as these shoes look in the photos, it is nothing compared to how awesome they are in person. They are so stylish, and the quality level is so high, it’s really unbelievable.

I think that the soles are really cool. I like that they are not clunky or boxy-looking like many athletic shoes are. They are very sleek, and yet the have plenty of grip so you never have to worry about slipping or anything.

Another thing that I always love about Lugz is the awesome logos. Not only is it cool that they do not consume the shoe so you don’t look like a walking billboard, but the Logo styles change with the shoe style so you really end up with a different look each time instead of a different shoe with a carbon copy logo.

The two logos on these shakedowns are epic.

Everything about these Shakedowns is slammin’. I really love how the silver on the lace holes makes the front of these shoes really POP without detracting from the super clean look of the white shoe and sleek shape. So awesome.

Of course the best aspect is that my husband LOVES them. His jaw almost dropped when he opened the box, and when he wore them the first time, I could tell he was in heaven. He even said that if it is even possible, that these are his most comfortable Lugz to date.

The Cushioned Insole, the Padded Tongue and Collar and the TPR Sole make up the comfort trifecta. Since my husband is always on his feet, these shoes are so great for him. I love that something so stylish can also be so practical. Anything that reduces pressure on his feel and makes him comfortable and happy is a huge win in my opinion. I love to see him happy.

The Perma Hide Upper really make these extra durable too, which is a must for my hubby. He really puts his shoes to the test. Hard work and hard play(with kiddos) can really take their toll on his shoes. He has already gotten some dirt on them, but he was able to wipe it right off effortlessly, and that is incredible.

I need shoes that can do that. I don’t own any white shoes because I would be lucky if they stayed white for 20 minutes. Being able to clean them easily is fantastic.

No matter what it s that you(he) is looking for in a sneaker, the Shakedown will have it and so much more. I cannot think of anything else that could improve these shoes at all. They are AMAZING!
