People with the flu and cold are all over the place. Guess what? Those I know who gotten the flu, NONE had their flu shot! Yes, I know it’s not a 100% you won’t get the flu if you get the vaccination but your odds of not getting it are a lot better than if you don’t get vaccinated.

Did you know that not only are Latinos the most likely ethnic group to report getting either a flu or cold, but we’re also the less likely to take preventative measures like vaccinations, having antibacterial cleaners etc? Not good, right?

Personally, I dislike having a cold or the flu and I might not be able to avoid them, but I can try and do!. That’s why I encourage everyone to have such handy items on hand as Purell hand sanitizer, Lysol antibacterial cleaner, Clorox clean up wipes and more! Sanitize your hands and surfaces, it does help. One of the worst places for spreading germs are workplaces of course so that’s why I’m so happy to have an Office Illness Prevention Kit to share and give one away.

The other thing to keep in mind which many, many people are guilty of is not going back to work too soon. In fact the majority, stay out of the office for less than two days. While some companies don’t encourage their employees to stay home, it’s better to do so at least 3 days so you don’t spread.

To help, we’re giving away an Office Illness Prevention Kit. It includes:

  • · Clorox Clean Up Wipes
  • · Lysol Antibacterial Cleaner
  • · Purell Hand Sanitizer
  • · Soft Soap Hand Soap
  • · Kleenex Tissue Box
