Mazda CX-9 Review

Thanks to the people at Mazda, I was able to travel in style this year to my annual blogging conference. This was a nice drive from Cincinnati, OH to Chicago, IL.

Mazda CX9

This beautiful 2013 Mazda CX9 SUV seats up to 7.  It provide more than enough room for my luggage, goodies from the conference and much much more. I even made a pit stop in southern Wisconsin to pick up some local brew for some co-workers.

The Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring All Wheel Drive came in a silver metallic color with black, leather interior.

Being a taller woman at nearly 6′, I really struggle with my current vehicle.  It sits lower to the ground and doesn’t offer much leg room.  I was really impressed with the Mazda CX-9 and how room it really was.  I can really see myself behind the wheel of one of these beauties.  This vehicle has gone to the top of my list for new vehicles to purchase.

Some of the amazing exterior features include:

  • 20″ Aluminum Alloy Wheels
  • 3.7 L V-6 DOHC Engine
  • 5-Speed Sport Automatic Transmission
  • Rain Sensing Wipers

Priced at $39,605 with all the extra options, I really want to make this vehicle my next purchase.  It has everything I want both inside and out and is the most beautiful color.

Some of the safety features include:

  • 36 month/36,000 mile warranty
  • 60 month/50,000 powertrain warranty
  • ABS Brakes
  • Roadside assistance
  • Blindspot monitoring (shows in the side view mirriors)
  • Roll Stability Control
  • Rear Back-up camera

Thanks to Mazda for allowing me the use of this luxury vehicle for my 2013 blogging conference journey. Check out some of the fun we had while in Chicago:

  • This car looks very nice. Thanks for the interesting and informative review!

  • wow I would love to have one

  • It’s a sharp-looking car. It has a lot of great features, too.

  • I love it! Really nice car! Looks like you had fun!

  • My thoughts on this review is that it is a very nice car with good gas mileage. It is also very roomy. This is what my next vehicle will be similar to.

  • It really is a reasonable price considering all the features.

  • Wow, glad I read this! I had no clue a Mazda could hold up to 7 people!! I always assumed it was more for like 2 people well possibly 4! Had no idea it was that roomy inside! Looks like it is fully equipped, so that’s definitely a plus. Thanks for this review.

  • The storage looks great especially with all our dogs and kids. It looks really comfortable as well great for all around driving i’m sure.

  • I Love the seats, and all of the storage space. This is great!

  • Mazda is my favorite maker of cars.I have a Mazda Protege that has over 250,000 miles on it.They are one of the best for being long lasting.I really love the Mazda CX 9 and all of the great features it has.

  • I love all that extra space in the back. I also really like the heated seats. It’s definiely a really nice ride. I would love to have one. Thanks.

  • wow. thanks for the review. looks like a really nice car. with exception of a camry i rented once (we felt every little ridge/bump in the road for 800 miles), every foreign car i’ve driven has been luxurious so i expect a mazda would be too. love renting cars like these because of the way the seats fold and we can sleep in the back instead of getting a room or sleeping sitting up. also love controls on the steering wheel so there’s less distraction/reaching. the things i always test first is turning radius – gotta have a car that’ll do a U-Turn easily 🙂

  • A beautiful car inside out i love it as its gorgeous and wonderful very good on gas and has very wonderful features im amazed by this car.

  • This is a great car. I love all of the safety features that it has.

  • Sweet ride! Love the interior features! Lots of room in the car too 🙂

  • Looks like a wonderful ride! And a ton of trunk space which is a plus for families with babies and toddlers that have to carry around all of those “extras”. We just bought a minivan last December so we won’t be buying anything new anytime soon.

  • That is a nice looking vehicle from the inside out…I am lovin’ these fancy dashboard panels and steering wheels on the newer models of cars. They are so much fun. It does look VERY roomy in the trunk area.

  • I love all the features! I love that it has a lot of room in the back! Between sports, shopping and just the kid in general I always have a full car 🙂

  • looks like a nice car with a lot of space. Some great features also I love bluetooth in my car.

  • Nice ride! I love the trunk space, I think it could hold my double stroller and then some which is great!

  • wow reasonably priced at 39K, that’s a little out of my budget for a car right now but I do want to upgrade my older SUV. This does look like a great car with a ton of great features but I won’t be getting this any time soon. 🙂
