Have you heard yet about the fun new animated movie that premiers in September, 2014? The Boxtrolls are a fun pack of quirky characters that adventure to save Egg’s family. Check out the posters of each cute character and how they were in action at Comic-Con this year!
The Boxtrolls are a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who have lovingly raised an orphaned human boy named Eggs (voiced by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) in the amazing cavernous home they’ve built beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. When the town’s villain, Archibald Snatcher (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley), comes up with a plot to get rid of the Boxtrolls, Eggs decides to venture above ground, “into the light,” where he meets and teams up with fabulously feisty Winnifred (Elle Fanning). Together, they devise a daring plan to save Eggs’ family.
The Boxtrolls were at Comic-Con International in San Diego this weekend daring people to sample their bug-based diet with Chef David George Gordon’s bug and insect edible creations! Isaac Hempstead-Wright (TV’s Game of Thrones), who voices the character of Eggs, was there to show the crowd how to #EatLikeTheBoxtrolls!
