Thank you for your interest in Price Patrol. The pricing is accurate and is updated either hourly or daily dependent on the retailer. We do not use online pricing, we get pricing directly from the retailer’s inventory system as we are partnered with over 250 retailers nationwide.
As for the specificity of the searches (color of an iPad Case) our search engine allows you to search for specific products and in most cases you can find it by color, we have over 22 million products in our data base and growing. We are working hard to bring the size as well (when it comes to clothing).

Do you know how accurate the prices are using this app? I see that they search by store location, but I am wondering how they get up-to-the-minute pricing, as most of these sites/apps use online pricing data, which is often cheaper than what can be found in-store.
You mentioned you used it to search for ipad cases, have you tested it on other products? What are your thoughts on the accuracy? Btw, it does sound like a cool app for shoppers.
