Pumpkin Spice Bread Recipe
From the time Fall Harvest season starts, my home becomes all things pumpkin.
From choosing the right pumpkin for carving at Halloween, to decorating with Thanksgiving decorations, pumpkin is a staple and common scent in my house all fall long. I wanted to share with you my simple and easy Pumpkin Spice Bread recipe. This bread has been a hit with family, friends and co-workers for years and this year is no different.
Ingredients Include:
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 cups pumpkin
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350* (degrees). Cream the eggs and sugar until mixed well together. Add cooking oil and water, blend well until thoroughly mixed. Add dry ingredients (nutmeg, cinnamon, flour), pumpkin & nuts (optional). Blend well until thoroughly mixed. Add to loaf pans or a cupcake pan and bake for 45-60 minutes.
The end result is a tasty and delicious pumpkin bread for everyone to enjoy.
