Screenwriter and Novelist Emma Donoghue will share highlights from her journey in turning her best selling novel into a feature film. She will post twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) on the official ROOM website, sharing thoughts from before, during and after the shoot. the whole concept of the movie makes me think of how much we take for granted.
I’ve been told to read the book before seeing the movie.
It reminds me of the bond between a mother and child and how delicate that is. It appears the film and book will be challenging to read or emotional.
I really want to learn more about his explorations of the world! I think this story sounds really interesting and I would love to learn more about it!
I couldn’t help but think about what the son is going through and what kind of effect this will have on his life… despite the fact that she tried to make it as “normal” as possible

The whole trailer makes me think this will be a hard movie to watch, but I still want to see it.
This made me think about how the psychological ramifications of being in a situation like that.
I started thinking from the beginning. Would I have the courage? Looks like an edge of your seat book/movie.

The part I loved was when Jack first rolled out of the carpet and saw the sky. The wonderment in his eyes brought me to tears <3

The part that really makes me think is that a five year old boy is discovering the World for the first time in his entire life. This sounds like a great dramatic film. 🙂
It amazes me that it’s loosely based off of true stories.
It makes me think how so very strong the will to survive is.

What really made me think is that there have been a few real-life stories of woman who escaped years later & it just made me think about the fact that there are unfortunately others out there still being held against their will!
