During my first trimester of pregnancy, I was told I was blessed because I actually didn’t experience much morning sickness. Boy did that sure change once that second trimester hit.

From the morning on, I was nauseous and tired and that would last sometimes all day long. I didn’t want to take prescription medication to curb the morning sickness and really just tolerated it most of the time. It did get better over time, but it is something that I will not soon forget.

Another thing I distinctly remember is the cravings – oh the cravings. From Doritos to Rolo’s caramel candy, I would want them all of the time. This really didn’t not help with my morning sickness either because I would feel the affects of my binge eating the next morning. Today there is a wonderful product on the market that is drug free and offers amazing morning sickness relief, Sea-Band mama!

The SEA-BAND® MAMA line, from the maker of popular motion sickness line of Sea-Band products, was developed for pregnant women, including drug-free morning sickness wrist bands and anti-nausea ginger lozenges. These really would have come in handy during my last pregnancy.

The Drug-Free morning sickness relief band is an anti-nausea band that you can wear around your wrist. With the use of simple, slight acupressure, you place the band button point on the area of your wrist (The Nei-Kuan Point). This will provide calming relief from nausea.

Whenever you start to feel that pang of morning sickness approaching, simply place the Sea-Band Mama on for a bit of time and feel the calming affects and relief from morning sickness. For mornings that you are feeling extremely nauseous, combine your wrist band wearing with a ginger lozenge (with folic acid) and this will provide that extra relief you need to help reduce or curb that morning sickness.

Both products are available at CVS and are the perfect purchase for yourself or someone you know who is pregnant. It doesn’t have to be the first pregnancy to experience morning sickness. Most doctors will agree that each pregnancy is unique and different and what one may experience with their first, may be entirely different with their next pregnancy. Whichever the case, Sea-Band mama! is there to help.
