Halloween is just 2 short weeks away and spooky things are already happening all around Cincinnati. One of our annual traditions is visiting the frightful yet exhilarating Dent Schoolhouse haunted house. 
I recently had a chance to visit the schoolhouse after hours and get an insiders look and behind the scenes tour of the inside. If you are not familiar with The Dent Schoolhouse, let me first give you a brief story about the legend behind The Dent Schoolhouse.
Built and opened in 1894, it housed grades K-12 and was the perfect location for the area children. It housed the best teachers and staff. From 1942-1955, several of the children disappeared. It is believed that the head janitor, Charlie McFree, was behind their disappearance.
The Dent Schoolhouse has been voted one of the World’s Scariest Haunted Houses by Hauntworld.com. It is also has an outdoor hidden gem to provide even more frightful delight.
To keep me warmed up and alert during my tour, I was joined by “Cuppy” and the crew of our local Dunkin Donuts. Cuppy had a chance to meet Charlie the Janitor, The School Marm and more before our private tour. 
While Cuppy was pretty intimidated by the crew, she held strong for the duration of the tour. We also had the chance to speak with the owner, get some fabulous history on The Dent Schoolhouse and partake in some delicious seasonal items from Dunkin Donuts here in Cincinnati.
With over 40 locations in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas, Dunkin Donuts has delicious pumpkin and fall flavored treats including Reese’s® Peanut Butter Squares, Pumpkin Muffins, Pumpkin Donuts, & Pumpkin Munchkin® Donut Hole Treats.
You can also enjoy a warm cup of seasonal flavored coffees including Salted Caramel Swirl and Pumpkin Swirl. 
The Dent Schoolhouse is open seasonally through November 5th. It is now open Thursday to Sunday with select hours each day. You can charge up while waiting your turn with Dunkin Donuts on your way by picking up a cup at select locations.

Love Dunkin Donuts and so glad Cuppy made it throught the haunted house, ha. I am too scared to go there myself.
I’m not sure that I could get any of my family to go in with me but I would love to go here. I have always loved haunted houses.
As for Dunkin Donuts, it is the preferred coffee in our home. We love it.
