Summer is here and with that comes lots of outdoor fun, travel, entertainment and eating. Along with those activities comes big messes likes grass stains, barbecue stains and more. While laundry has not always been my favorite chore, I do take great pride in my laundering skills and some secrets I have picked up along the way. One in particular, is how amazing I can battle those pesky stains with BIZ STAIN FIGHTER

Here are some tips to remove summer stains:

Chocolate Sauce

Chocolate sauce on ice cream cones, sundaes and even tasty candy bars that melt in the summer sun can leave gnarly stains on clothes. It is a persnickety stain that can be tough to get out. Some simple steps can save that favorite pair of summer khaki’s for wearing again and again.

  1. Gently blot the stain away, don’t rub. Rubbing can embed the sauce deeper into the fabric of your clothing.
  2. Run the fabric under cold water or seltzer water.
  3. Apply a strong stain removing agent like BIZ Stain Fighter.
  4. Soak in cold water for 15-20 minutes, then gently rub the fabric together with friction.
  5. Place in laundry and was as normal with other similar color/style fabrics.

Barbecue Sauce or Ketchup

Barbecue sauce can be a tougher stain to clean as it contains ingredients that are meant to stick to your ribs (metaphorically). Here are a few tips to help alleviate those stains.

  1. Gently remove the excess sauce from your clothing with a spoon.
  2. Quickly run under cold water, rubbing the stain together with a small amount of friction and strength.
  3. Apply a strong stain removing agent like BIZ Stain Fighter.
  4. Soak in warm water for 30-45 minutes.
  5. Place in laundry and was as normal with other similar color/style fabrics.

Grass Stains

Grass stains in my daughter’s softball uniform has always be an enemy of mine, and they always seem to win. I have found some helpful tips to win this battle and have become the victor in this ageless battle. Here are tips I have found that work.

  1. Before throwing those grass-stained pants into the washer, pre-treat them with BIZ Stain Fighter. Let sit for 15-20 minutes and soak into the stain.
  2. Using a small brush, like a toothbrush or polishing brush, gently rub the area(s) and rinse.
  3. Place in laundry and was as normal with other similar color/style fabrics.

Different stains require different cleaning agents, and unfortunately, there is no one single ingredient that cleans all kinds of stains well. For example, milk and grass stains require enzyme cleaners, while ink or wine stains require peroxides. There is only one laundry product that combines ALL of these stain removers – BIZ STAIN FIGHTER.

Here’s a helpful table to identify stains and removers:

BIZ has more stain fighters than other brands, while also brightening clothes. Available in powder, liquid and liquid boosters, independent, third party tests have shown that Biz works 80 percent better than detergent alone.

All stains are different, unique and require different techniques to remove them. One thing is consistent and true, BIZ Stain Fighter has the power and strength needed to help alleviate stains and save your favorite clothes time and again. On vacation? No worries! Biz On-the-Go Stain Eliminator is the solution. It works on stains like coffee and more. This gives you some comfort to treat the stain and then prepare for further treating when you get home.
