Vicks GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier #Review
Living in the heart of the midwest, you can always count on dry winters and dry air in the house as a result. I have gone through many humidifiers over the years, but I have to say that the Vicks GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier is the best by far.
I placed my Vicks GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier in my hallway to allow the benefits to reach each bedroom. I quickly noted a change in the air. It was moister, less static shock and fresh breathing.
Setting up the humidifier simple. Simply take off the water tank, open it and fill with water. With the water tank off, you can easily lift out the filter for a quick soak in water before using. Finally, replace the top and turn it to 1 of 3 easy settings.
Product Features Include:
- Adjustable fan speed: High for max moisture, Medium for everyday moisture and Low for night time sound sleep mode.
- Sanitizes the water with UV technology
- Reduces up to 99% bacteria, mold and spores
- Invisible cool mist
- Scent pad
I really like that this humidifier has a heated slot for a scent pad. Just lift the tank and slide the scent pad into it’s slot. This makes it beneficial and pleasant to have.
Even at its highest setting, the noise factor is relatively low. The sound is almost soothing and won’t keep you awake at night, and you will be breathing a lot easier as you sleep.
The 1-gallon tank will last for about 12 hours on its highest setting. I love the fact that I can fill this before bed, and know that it run out throughout the night.
The control button is illuminated for easy use in a darker room. If you put this in your child’s room, it can easily work as a humidifier and night light.
I am pleased with the Vicks GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a humidifier.
